You're hilarious, dude. You're the first person I've heard that has said "no online co-op, no buy". It's a LEGO game!

Yeah and what´s that about? Does it hinder them to come up with a proper online coop instead of that squirling and nervetaking splitscreen? But no, instead you get the lazy 'we wanna enforce couch coop' argument,

And how exactly do you think online LEGO games will work out? I mean, people can do missions just fine. When you die you just respawn in the middle of the action and continue, so we can rule that out of one of the possibilities of having online co-op. Honestly, couch play is just fine.

There have been several instances where I've wanted to buy a game just to play with a friend online, where I then see it's only local co-op. I guess they hate money, or they're blithering idiots that refuses to explain why they aren't putting in a very obvious feature.

Every freaking one of these games has 5+ threads asking about online co-op. What's the deal, maaaaan.

No online co-op? That sucks.

Like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ local coop ? How is that even an argument, people wanna play with online friends, nothing more. They are not asking for a battle royal mode or whatever non sense you're thinking about, they just wanna do the local campaign online. Tons and tons of game are already offering that, it sucks that this game can't, like all the others Lego games.

It's not asking for the moon.

Lego Worlds have online component. Maybe you should try that

actually Lego Star Wars 2 allowed online-coop with joining right in the middle of the action.

this game just has co-op

Tsk. That's what I thought. Still, since this game had a 'co-op' tag unlike all the other recent LEGO games, I thought this one must be different. Oh, well. Thanks for the info.

I'm with the "no buy." Been waiting for one of these to play with my long distance kid. He loves these games. When I saw "co-op," I rushed to the interwebs to make sure, and Co-optimus verified that it was local only.

Disney is forcing the cancellation of Marvel Heroes. Speculation is that they are going to launch a superior MMO. I'll save my cash for that.

Lego games are not MMO. Seems like you're in the market for something else entirely. Also, they tried internet multiplayer with a few games years ago and it was crap.
